Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (2024)

Should you dual-wield in Elden Ring? Dual-wielding weapons in the game indeed boost your damage and increase attack speed, allowing for faster and more lethal combinations. For example, you can dual-wield the Uchigatana with the Rivers of Blood, resulting in a blood-soaked onslaught.

Why settle for one weapon when you can wield two? Equipping two weapons simultaneously is achieved by selecting your desired weapons for the left and right hand. However, there are some downsides to the Power Stance, like being vulnerable to certain attacks. Nevertheless, the increased damage and speed make it a worthwhile trade-off.

Moreover, you can dual-wield a wide array of weapons in Elden Ring, ranging from Greatswords to Katanas, Clubs to Spears. Each combination can offer various effects, including high bleed damage. Interestingly, some combinations are so powerful that you can one-shot your enemies, as seen with the Giant Crusher.

Giant Crusher

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (2)

Number one on my list of Best Dual Wield Weapons Elden Ringis the Giant Crusher. You will want to equip the weapon with the Heavy affinity to change its scaling with Strength. The weapon alone is terrifying; imagine what two of these could do! Mash both the Crushers with Royal Knight’s Resolve and unleash hell on your enemies.

Use jump attacks to deliver heavy blows that could obliterate them in a single hit. The hammer is massive in size and serves a decent hit. You could deal more than 700+ damage at +25 with the special attack while dual-wielding.

You can find it in the Outer Wall Phantom Tree site of Grace. Although it carries insane damage benefits, the weapon has a high requirement of Strength to wield. So if you’re one of those players that digStrength buildweapons, the Giant Crusher is definitely your go-to weapon for dual-wielding!

Starscourge Greatsword

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (3)

The Starscourge Greatsword in Elden Ring can be obtained from Enia at the Roundtable Hold by trading the Remembrance of the Starscourge. It scales with Strength, Intelligence, and Dexterity, featuring the unique skill “Starcaller Cry” that pulls enemies towards the user and deals significant damage. When dual-wielded, it triggers an explosive gravity effect for massive AOE damage. Upgrading it with Somber Smithing Stones enhances its efficiency, making it effective in both PvE and PvP.

Prelate’s Inferno Crozier

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (4)

The Crozier can be dual-wielded with another Crozier or a Giant Crusher. It’s a colossal weapon but doesn’t match the damage of dual-wielded Giant Crushers.

Equipping it with the ‘Heavy’ affinity scales damage with Strength. The Prelate’s Inferno Crozier offers a fun charge attack, costing FP in PvP.

45 Strength is required to wield it, obtainable at Seethewater Terminus in Grace. Equipping it in both hands enables dual-wielding for powerful attacks. Double-wielding the Crozier is highly effective and enjoyable!

Antspur Rapier

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (5)

You can effectively dual-wield the Antspur Rapier, with one infused with Rot and the other with Poison. The scarlet rot effect on the Rapier inflicts lingering damage through thrust attacks, making it lethal when used in pairs.

Combining the potent effects of Scarlet Rot and Poison can cause enemies to succumb to their ailments. The Antspur Rapier primarily scales with Dexterity and Strength, delivering substantial physical damage. It closely resembles the weapon used by Godskin Noble, who specializes in lancing.

The Rapier’s piercing attacks can break an enemy’s guard, creating an opening for subsequent strikes. Notably, it synergizes well with Scarlet Rot and Bleed, in addition to Talismans.

For added excitement, consider equipping these Rapiers with Bloodhound’s Step and Bloody Slash. The Antspur Rapier emerges as a top choice for dual-wielding in Elden Ring, offering a thrilling and effective combat experience.

Godskin Peeler

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (6)

First off, the Godskin Peeler is an incredible blood loss buildup weapon that can be deadly. Secondly, you can dual-wield it to deal more damage. You can boost the blood loss buildup and the damage by equipping the weapon with Ash of War Seppuku of Occult.

By doing that, you will also be able to proc more blood loss and it works wonders in PvP and PvE fights. The range on the weapon is perfect for melee battles and the pointy ends look deadly!

The reason why I recommended the Occult Ash of war is because it will coat the blades with blood and increase your damage and blood loss on the enemies, allowing you to deal devastating damage.

Consequently, the blood loss alone does a lot of damage and if you dual-wield the weapon, it can be quite as strong as the Rivers of Blood Katana minus the range!

Rivers of Blood

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (7)

Dual-wielding the Rivers of Blood Katana in Elden Ring is highly effective due to its versatile moveset and damage scaling with Arcane. Its slash and pierce attacks make it a formidable choice, with a bonus bleed effect. Equipping either the Uchigatana or a second Rivers of Blood Katana can significantly boost your damage output, and the weapon has relatively low requirements, with just 20 Arcane needed.

However, facing an invader wielding this weapon can be challenging due to its move set. It’s worth noting that if the Rivers of Blood Katana gets nerfed, it may become less potent, similar to the Frayed Blade in Dark Souls 3. You can acquire this katana by defeating Bloody Finger Okina.

Dual-wielding the katana can greatly increase the blood loss Buildup on enemies, and one of its weapon skills, Corpse Piler, deals both fire and physical damage. In both PvE and PvP, dual-wielding this weapon is exceptionally strong and can help you defeat your foes with ease. Consider using two Rivers of Blood Katanas to dominate your enemies in both game modes.

Scavenger’s Curved Sword

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (8)

The Scavenger’s Curved Sword, similar to the Reduvia Dagger, excels in close-range combat due to its limited range. It’s a fantastic choice for melee fighters, with its primary scaling in Dexterity and Strength. Notably, it surpasses dual katanas in terms of inflicting the highest bleed proc.

For effective dual-wielding of the Scavenger’s Curved Sword, consider equipping each with Seppuku and Occult. This combination is considered formidable because a single jump attack can deal immense damage, hitting the enemy four times with successive jumps.

When power-stancing these swords, the move set becomes uniquely powerful. You can take down bosses like Margot with just two successive jump attacks and one slash attack.

Keep in mind that the downside of dual-wielding these swords is that you can obtain only one per playthrough, and you’ll need someone else to drop their Scavenger’s Curved Sword for you. Finding a generous fellow player to assist you in getting these swords may require some luck!

Spiked Club

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (9)

The Spiked Clubs, though not ancient artifacts dating back to 16 B.C. (just a jest!), are formidable when dual-wielded. They primarily scale with Strength and Dexterity, and their heavy attacks can deal devastating damage.

You can further enhance the Spiked Club’s potential by upgrading it with Smithing Stones to maximize its effectiveness. The weapon’s entry requirements are relatively low, with only a Strength of 12 needed to wield it. Additionally, the Spiked Club has the useful ability to induce blood loss Buildup, which can provide extra damage in combat.

The Barbaric Roar skill on the weapon allows you to increase your damage output and transform heavy attacks into swift combinations with increased speed. Equip one Spiked Club in each hand and bolster your character with various talismans and spells before engaging enemies. Then, unleash a barrage of jump attacks to deliver massive damage.

To acquire the Spiked Club, seek out a demi-human at the Coastal Caves. Once equipped, consider using the affinity Keen to shift the scaling to B for Strength, further boosting the weapon’s damage potential.

Uchigatana

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (10)

The Uchigatana is perfect for all the Samurai fans out there. Dual-wielding the weapon in the Samurai class makes you look badass! Anyways, the Uchigatana, as the name suggests, is a Katana in Elden Ring, which scales primarily with Dexterity and Strength. When we talk about the range of the weapon, it serves its purpose in mid-range fights.

Here’s a little fun fact for you guys: the Uchigatana is your starting weapon when choosing the Samurai class, and you can level it up along your journey in Elden Ring. On another note, you need to find another Uchigatana to dual-wield them.

You can get another drop of these katanas from an NG or a friend who would be kind enough to drop it for you! Having the ability to infuse it with ashes of war enables the Uchigatana to create a room full of unique builds.

For instance, you could go for a quality build that scales your sword with Strength and Dexterity. If you want to use it for a bleed build, I highly suggest you equip Seppuku because it inversely increases the bleed effect.

Eleonora’s Poleblade

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (11)

The Poleblade scales with Arcane and is also one of theBest Dual Wield Elden Ringweapons. There is a lot of range on this weapon which allows the user to swing it around in circles.

Despite having two blades on both ends, you can dual-wield Eleonora’s Poleblade with a Talisman that successfully increases the attacks by 30% and also jump attacks by a significant number.

The weapon has a unique skill set called the Blood Blade Dance, which allows the user to enter into a series of attacks and a fully automated dodge animation at the end.

The weapon can be found once completingYura’s Questline. The fact that it scales well with Arcane makes it perfect for an Arcane Build. By dual-wielding this bad boy, you can get four successive hits while airborne, which alone can destroy enemies within seconds.

With the suitable Talismans and items, you could get around 10-20k damage with all the swings you pull up with the two-headed blades. On another note, if you prefer dual-wielding it with another weapon, the Godskin Peeler perfectly fits the list!

Reduvia Dagger

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (12)

The Reduvia Daggers in Elden Ring resemble the Chains of Chaos from the God of War series and are an excellent choice for dual-wielding. These daggers are known for their substantial bleed effect, which can result in significant damage over time when used together.

One notable drawback of the Reduvia Daggers is their limited range, which can pose challenges in PvP fights. To wield these daggers, you’ll need 13 Dexterity and 13 Arcane.

Because of their short range, using the Reduvia Daggers in combat often requires engaging enemies in close quarters. However, with the right combination of Talismans and items, you can double your damage output, making it a worthwhile trade-off.

You can obtain the Reduvia Daggers through Yura’s Questline. They are considered among the top choices in my list of Elden Ring’s best dual-wield weapons.

Golden Halberd

Elden Ring: 12 Best Dual Wield Weapons + Locations - VeryAli Gaming (13)

Dual-wielding weapons in Elden Ring, like the Golden Halberd, can lead to powerful five-hit combos, emphasizing jump and swing attacks. Heavy weapons, such as the Golden Halberd and Giant Crusher, trade speed for massive damage.

While this can be satisfying, it may not fare well against faster opponents. Dual-wielding enhances damage output, and combining the Golden Halberd with Golden Vow for additional damage and defense is recommended.

Other weapons like the Commander’s Standard or Dragon Halberd can also be used. Experiment with weapon combinations to find the best build for your playstyle. Consider exploring the Giant Crusher Build for more options.
