Degrees & Classes — Stanford d.school (2024)

Learn design at the d.school

Whether you’re a design major or looking for skills to amplify your field of study, we’ve got something for you!

Our project-based and experiential classes and degree programs help Stanford students collaborate and tackle real-world challenges.

We offer a Bachelor’s degree program, a Master’s degree program, and elective classes for Stanford students at all seven schools.

d.school classes are open to students enrolled at Stanford. Some courses are open only to declared majors or master’s students. Others are open to the entire student body. We also offer several programs for university students beyond Stanford, business leaders, designers, and educators. Explore our Professional Learners page for more information.

Click here to explore the Undergraduate Design Program website.

Information about admissions and requirements can be found on our Stanford Design Program site.

We encourage students to take classes that will challenge their existing disciplinary mindset. Take a look at our current class offerings below.
