Our first classroom door idea is Fallin’ Into Learning.
This is an easy door decoration that celebrates the back-to-school season and will be appropriate even as you approach Thanksgiving! In fact, the printable fall leaves we used on this door can be taken off the door and added to a thankful tree later on so you get extra use out of them!
The simple fall leaves and letter combo can also be used on a bulletin board for fall, or you can opt for other fall-related sayings that have the same effect:

Be a Rainbow in Someone Else’s Cloud Classroom Door
Decorating your classroom door is a lot of work, and you may be up for doing that kind of work a few times throughout the year … but if you’re not, then opt for something that will last the whole year through!

Encourage Your Little Explorers
Where does a yellow submarine go? Under the sea, of course! Dive deep with an adventure in the deep blue ocean on your door.
To build this classroom door that takes students under the sea, we used:
- Aqua colored paper
- Green party streamers (cut the edges to make it twist)
- Colored cardstock (cut into circles)
- Under the sea letter set
- Cartoon teal/blue letter set
- Under the Sea border trims and sea creatures
Hot tip: There is an amazing tool called a Circle Leaver Punch that allows you to create large colored circles; it’s like a massive hole punch!
Kindergarten Classroom Door Idea
Teaching kindergarten? Welcome students back to school this fall with this classroom door idea: Look Who’s Blooming in Kindergarten!
