We had so much fun all day, and then we had parent teacher conferences at night, so I got to hear about all the great conversations they had about the 100th day activities when they got home!

100 Day Crowns

These crowns were super easy to make!

Students began by taking 10 strips with 10 squares on each strip. I had them draw a shape, letter, or number in each box. You could also have them stamp, use hole punches, or use stickers!

Then, they glued them to the back of a sentence strip. I stapled them. Then they added the “I Am 100 Days Smarter” piece to the front. Fun and easy!

100 Day Mystery Pictures

That took most of the morning! For phonics, we’ve been working on CVC words. I had students complete this mystery picture as their 100th day activity:

Students used the end of a paint brush to dot 10 dots of paint on each scoop of ice cream as sprinkles. You could also have them draw sprinkles on with marker!

Then, they cut the scoops out and glued them on their bowls to make a sundae.

100 Day Necklaces

We were going to make these cereal necklaces but I made a mistake and bought the dollar store brand. The holes were too small to string! If you make these, I would suggest getting the real deal or another cereal with larger holes (or beads):

100th Day Centers

For students who finished any activity early, I had “bonus” centers set up. They could go to any of these activities:

For this center, they had to make a 100 domino chain or tower!

I had students work in teams because so many wanted to do that one!

This one wasn’t really a early finisher activity, but we did have a 100 day snack in there!

For this activity, students had to count out 100 cubes! When they were done, they labeled each group of ten with a sticky notes to practice counting by 10’s.
